GT.M, and hence YottaDB, have had the ability to call M functions from C co=
de for twenty years or more. With either product, you can create & expose a=
n API in M and call that API from C. What YottaDB has, and which GT.M does =
not, is a direct API to call the data management engine from C code (see ht=
tps://docs.yottadb.com/MultiLangProgGuide/ for details).
